A show apartment for the new Seven building in the Southbank Place development, this sixth-floor home offers direct views of the River Thames, the London Eye Ferris wheel and the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben.

The 13-story, 92-unit building was “completed a couple of months ago,” said listing agent Miles Wood, sales director of Qatari Diar. There are three other residential buildings in the 5.25-acre Southbank Place development, “all of which have sold. This is the final piece of the puzzle.”

“All of the apartments are oversized,” he said. “This one has two bedrooms and 1,700 square feet, which for London is a large apartment. It feels very grown-up.”

The reception room is “very, very generous, and you’re front row to the river,” Wood said. “The views are exceptional.”

The national exhibition celebrating Britain’s contributions to science, industry and the arts was held in 1951 on the site Southbank Place now occupies.
